Dr. Patrick Barry, MD

Dr. Barry is a Colorado native raised in Littleton and most recently from Estes Park where he and his wife (Dr. Lampey) practiced for 9 years. He now has an additional 15+ years of experience serving patients here in Grand County. His interest in medicine began with first aid and wilderness EMT training while volunteering for a Search and Rescue team in high school.

He received his BA in Molecular and Cellular Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado in 1992 and a Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Colorado in 1996. He performed his internship and residency at St. Anthony’s Family Practice Residency in Denver. Dr Barry has a strong background in internal medicine topics and has enjoyed expanding his practice to emphasize pediatrics, adolescent care, sports medicine, and orthopedic injuries since moving to Grand County. He has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 1999.

Dr. Barry enjoys mountain biking, all types of skiing, hiking with his dog, and playing guitar. His attempts at singing remain hopeless, and his ability to play hockey is kindly called enthusiastic rather than lacking.
